Port KC Leases Riverfront Land to Flaherty & Collins for First Vertical Mixed-Use Development on the Site in 100 Years

KANSAS CITY, December 12, 2016 – Cushman & Wakefield announced today that Port KC, formerly known as the Port Authority of Kansas City, Missouri, has leased five acres of land to Flaherty & Collins for a mixed-use development at The Union at Berkley Riverfront Park, 1298 E. Riverfront Rd. Flaherty & Collins will develop a new 410-unit, market-rate apartment project with 12,400 square feet of ground-level commercial space and a 400-space parking structure. Construction on the project begins this month; MW Builders is the contractor. Delivery is expected in the summer of 2018. Kansas City Business Journal: City Gym will anchor commercial space at Pickwick Plaza

A local gym will anchor the 30,000 square feet of commercial space at East 9 at Pickwick Plaza, a $65 million mixed-use redevelopment project at 933 McGee St. in downtown Kansas City. Gold Crown Properties Inc., the developer of the project, announced that City Gym, which is located at 7416 Wornall Road, will open a second, 8,700-square-foot location at East 9 at Pickwick Plaza. City Gym was represented in its search for a downtown location by Gib Kerr, a broker with Cushman & Wakefield's Kansas City office. Shuttlewagon Leases 81,997 SF at Three Trails Industrial Park

KANSAS CITY, November 29, 2016 – Cushman & Wakefield announced today that Shuttlewagon, Inc. has leased 81,997 square feet of space in Building III at Three Trails Industrial Park, 8701 Elmwood Ave. in Kansas City for 15 years.
