Kansas City Business Journal: KU Health System buys former EPA HQ, plans $61M renovation

The former Environmental Protection Agency’s Region 7 headquarters in downtown Kansas City, Kan., finally will find new life. The University of Kansas Health System announced Wednesday that it bought the long-vacant building for an undisclosed amount. It will house behavioral health services and administrative functions for one of the area’s largest health systems. Cushman & Wakefield Senior Vice President Suzanne Dimmel served as the listing broker.
