Shuttlewagon Leases 81,997 SF at Three Trails Industrial Park

KANSAS CITY, November 29, 2016 – Cushman & Wakefield announced today that Shuttlewagon, Inc. has leased 81,997 square feet of space in Building III at Three Trails Industrial Park, 8701 Elmwood Ave. in Kansas City for 15 years. Shuttlewagon Inc., a Nordco company, is a leading designer and manufacturer of mobile railcar movers for industries including aggregate, mining and refining.

“We are very excited to be moving into the new Three Trails facility,” said Joel Frank, President of Shuttlewagon, Inc. “The new building will provide us with the needed space to grow with minimal disruption to our existing workforce. It was a pleasure working with Cushman & Wakefield to complete this transaction.”

Cushman & Wakefield Senior Vice President Joe Accurso and Associate Vice President Rob Holland represented Shuttlewagon, Inc. in the transaction. Mark Fountain and Nick Tinnel of True North Industrial Realty, LLC, represented NPIF2 Three Trails Building III, LLC.

The 494,654-square-foot speculative industrial building in Three Trails Industrial Park is located at Missouri Highway 71 and 87th Street in the South Kansas City industrial submarket. At least 60 Shuttlewagon, Inc. employees are expected to work in the building.
